Mestrado em Engenharia Informática e de Computadores (MEIC) It has been a pleasure to serve the best and largest MSc @ IST during 3 mandates:
. 2 years (2021-2022) as Deputy Coordinator
. 2 years (2023-2024) as Coordinator
. 2 years (2025-2026) as Coordinator

There are two MEIC @ IST, and they have the exact same curricular plan, differing only on their campus location:
. MEIC-A at Alameda campus
. MEIC-T at Taguspark campus

Very useful information @MEIC and @IST If you have a question, please first take a look @MEIC pages:
. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
. Important dates related to your MSc thesis: PIC2 + Dissertation

Also, check the institutional informations @IST pages:
. Applying to a MSc degree, if you are inside the EU or outside the EU
. Master's Dissertation regulation
. IST curricular unit enrolments
. IST evaluation regulations
. IST Pedagogical Council regulations

and most importantly, the IST academic calendar:
. Academic calendar and deadlines

Course limits and specialization areas To help students with course limits and with specialization areas, we have built a new site at: https://ptgm.github.io/MEIC-areas/
It uses Fenix API to update course enrolments every hour(ish)

You are free to contribute to this project (e.g. adding different curricular plans, years, etc) at: https://github.com/ptgm/meic-areas/
